Learning Modern, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago Sullivan Galleries, Fall 2009. The major exhibition, the centerpiece program of "Living Modern Chicago," bridges the historic roots of American modernism in Chicago and its critical role in education in the mid-20th century, linking it to the contemporary critical practices of artists, architects, and designers.
