"Expanding Internationalism - A Conference on International Exhibitions" (May 1990)
Venice, ItalyArts International, a division of the Institute of International Education, convened a two-day conference "Expanding Internationalism" during the opening week of the Venice Biennale in May 1990. The papers and commentary included in this report reflect something of the wide-ranging discussion that took place on the ways in which contemporary art of diverse cultures is chosen and presented in international shows.
